Special Events at Restaurant Nora
We have four rooms available for special events at Restaurant Nora. The Gallery Room is Nora's most versatile private room for groups up to 50 people and our Garden Room which can be used for parties from 2 to 22. The atmosphere in the Garden Room is cozy, with brick walls and a glass ceiling...wonderful for evening stargazing. Nora's new elegant dining room, the Wine Library, comfortably accomodates up to 32 guests for lunch or dinner and up to forty for a standing reception. The Parlor Room is a cozy, charming private room can be used as extra space for a Gallery Room reception, or as a private space for a luncheon or dinner for 2 to 10 guests. Nora is renowned for pioneering the use of organic ingredients in her American cuisine. For years, she has searched to find certified organic farmers who use no chemical additives to produce the meat, dairy products, fruits and vegetables that we serve. Food produced in this way is complete in nutrients and has exceptional flavor and texture. Nora tries to enhance these qualities as she prepares and presents your food. Luncheons are very special at Restaurant Nora. Because we are closed to the public during the day, you may have the restaurant exclusively to yourselves. Most people do not have as much time for lunch as they do for dinner, so we also offer the option of a set menu. A special menu, customized with your personal heading, will be printed for the event and placed at each setting. Nora understands that we all like choices and do not always have the same palate. With this in mind, she personally creates private event menus that offer your guests options and the printed menu may be customized with your own personal heading.
